$28 MILLION RAISED BY HARDWARE CLUB FOR HARDWARE SEED FUND

JUNE 14TH, 2017- Composed of 280 hardware startups, the Hardware Club is a venture firm focused on sharing knowledge, tips and introductions with people in the hardware community. The acceptance rate to join this club is 7%, and the select few that get accepted are also granted access to Hardware Club's manufacturing and distributing recommendations.

With the first closing of it's inaugural fund, Hardware Club raised $28 million from Bpifrance, Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, Foxconn, Mistletoe and a few others. In the grand scheme of things, the startups that have been accepted have raised $80 million on crowdfunding platforms, and $700 million by way of traditional fundraising.

The next step for Hardware Club is investing in promising startups that are already part of the community. Even if startups don't receive money from the venture fund, they still get tips, perks, and exposure. The club currently boasts 280 startups.
