UBTECH ALPHA 2: WORLD ROBOT CONFERENCE 2017

BEIJING, CHINA- AUG. 24, 2017 - Techies, developers, and programmers from all across the globe recently came together in Beijing for the 2017 World Robot Conference. This year's theme boasted the title "Win-Win Collaborative Innovation Toward the Building of an Intelligent Society." The IEEE Robotics and Automation Scoiety describe the gathering as a "venue where academic thoughts can be exchanged at high levels and the latest acheivments demonstrated..." The conference wrapped up on August 27th, but not before UBtech's Alpha 2 could charm it's onlookers.

ALPHA 2

 Audiences gathered around Alpha 2 at WRC 2017 as it's operators demonstrated the robot's capabilities. Alpha 2 is described as a "voice controlled humanoid butler" and can do everything from housework to reading children bedtime stories. In addition to those features, Alpha 2 can switch on lights, turn on AC, and even turn on the television if you simply say "Alpha, I'm home!" You can even ask Alpha 2 about the weather, your calendar, and other general questions.
